Neal Russell Riendeau, 71, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019.

Born in Brockton, MA, he was the son of the late Russell and Martha Riendeau. Neal was a retired USAF veteran; member of the American Legion Post 108 where he served as 2nd vice commander; member of the VFW/American Legion Honor Guard for many years; a member of the committee that was instrumental in the construction of the Veterans Memorial Park and was chairman of the VFW/American Legion Christmas cheer program for local and needy veterans. He worked for Lowe's for many years and was a woodworker, cabinet maker and enjoyed gardening.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Susan Gabris Riendeau; daughter, Erica Dawn Owen and husband Ryan of Riceville, TN; and two grandchildren, Riley Owen and Kaylee Owen.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
