Nancy LeMieux, 86, of Franklin, NC, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at her home.

She was born in Greensburg, IN and moved to Florida after graduating high school. While attending St. Petersburg Junior College, she met the love of her life Thomas (Tom) LeMieux and they married June 4, 1959. She and Tom celebrated just over 65 years together. Florida was their home until moving to North Carolina in 2007.

She is survived by her husband Tom, Franklin, NC, Children: Tim LeMieux (Petra) Franklin,NC, Todd LeMieux (Lisa) Old Town, FL, Tracy Cummins (Chris) Inverness, FL,Grandchildren: Tyler LeMieux (Elisha), Christie Jones, Amanda Cummins, Greg Cunmins,(Pauline), Great Grandchildren: Lilly, Vaden, Jaxson LeMieux, Callie Jones, Colton Cummins, Brother: Jon Merkel (Lynn) and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Lillian Merkel.

She loved cooking, baking, crafting, taking pictures and watching birds. She loved watching sports - basketball, baseball, football & hockey (basketball being her favorite) and loved driving around in the beautiful Smoky Mountains.
Her favorite chairside and bedside buddy was her dog, Beau. But mostly, she loved her husband and family. She spent countless hours making special gifts for every child, grandchild and great-grandchild. She was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church and loved the time spent with her church family and friends.

In honoring Nancy's request to have her service at a later date, her Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Holly Springs Baptist Church, 366 Holly Springs Church Rd., Franklin, NC 28734 with Ben Heise, Senior Pastor, officiating.
Visitation/Receiving of friends will be 12:00 to 1:00pm, Memorial Service 1:00- 2:00pm

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to Holly Springs Baptist Church.
