Obituary
Nancy Lee Wachtstetter Brandon, age 95, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025.
Nancy was born in Hollywood, Florida to the late Guy Wachstetter and Forest Mason Wachtstetter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, William Martin Brandon and daughter, Karen Anne Brown. As a young woman she was a very accomplished horse woman, a bareback jumper appearing in the Orange Bowl, and won six silver goblets. She retired to Franklin around thirty years ago, and she traveled extensively.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Dingee (Art); three grandchildren, Dianne Lyn Nolan, Martin Brown (Amy), Arthur Dingee (Kendall); and five great grandchildren, Patrick Nolan, Megan Nolan, Robin Nolan, Harper Dingee, Hadley Dingee, and son-in-law, Herb Brown.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 9th, from 1-2pm at Macon Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at 2pm. Rev. Tommy Jordan will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
