Myrtle Branham Parker, 91, of Franklin, NC passed the eternal gates on June 17, 2025.

Myrtle was born in Davie, Florida in 1934 to Solomon and Amanda Branham. Myrtle grew up in south Florida, moving to North Carolina in the 1980s. Myrtle lived her life a loving and giving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She spent her life caring for her family and most loved rocking all her babies. She also loved traveling, ready for any adventure.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Parker Jr., and her daughter, Terri Slavens. She is survived by daughters, Cindy (Mac) Harrison and Lynda Palmer, her grandchildren Tara (Mike) Parrish, Parker (Ashton) Slavens, Paige (Jason) Harrison, Wayne (Sarah) Harrison, and Bryce (Brianna) Palmer, as well as her many great-grandchildren, and her close nieces.

A private family graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 11:00am at Mount Zion Cemetery. Pastor Steve Reeves will officiate. Donations to The Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated in memory of our dear Momma and Grandmomma.
