Obituary
Monte Ray Hamilton, 72, of Franklin passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2019.
Born in Burlington, IA, he was the son of the late Raymond Hamilton and Virginia Barwick Hamilton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Himschoot Hamilton; and brother, Michael Hamilton. Monte was a US Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church, owner of Cullasaja Exxon, and an avid collector of model cars and automobiles.
He is survived by his sister, Marsha Wolfe (Tim) of Long Lane, MO; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
