Robert "Mike" Michael Holden, 57, of Franklin, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023.

Born in Rabun County, GA, he was the son of the late Melvin and Anna "Ruth" Pickens Holden. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeremiah Ortega. Mike was a member of Cowee Baptist Church. He enjoyed going to races, road trips , fishing, cooking, truck driving, and talking about anything and everything. Mike loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Dana Fouts Holden; three daughters, Hannah Webb, Madison Holden, and Brianna Holden, all of Franklin; one sister, Diana Melter (Ron) of Wahalla, SC; and two grandchildren, Ivana Ortega, and Zaiden Ortega. Mike also has numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends also surviving.

A Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, September 7, at 7pm in the chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Jason Smith and Rev. Ronnie Branson will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 6pm to 7pm, prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
