Mike Paulson, age 69, passed away on March 13, 2025 following an unexpected illness.

Mike was born in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Jean Daniel Paulson and Mary Elizabeth Tucker Paulson. He spent the majority of his professional career in commercial lending. However, his true love was for books. Following retirement, Mike proudly worked for one of the world's largest bookstores, Chamblin Bookmine in Jacksonville. He loved any good book, but he never missed a chance to learn about the history of war or unusual coins. Mike was always on the hunt to find a rare coin or antique.

He is survived by his brother, Richard "Bubba" Paulson (Michelle); nieces and nephew, Victoria, Angelica, Ashley, and Beau; and close friends, David and Janet Patterson. He is also survived by his faithful canine companion, Rascal.

A service is being planned at Mike's church, Walnut Creek Baptist Church for a later date.
