Whether in the stands at a ballgame, in a church pew beside his family, or relaxing at home watching a crime show, Mike's presence brought warmth, laughter, and unwavering love.
A lifelong sports fan, Mike's heart belonged to Ohio State. His fondest memories came from watching the game between the Buckeyes and Michigan in "The Shoe". He also enjoyed golfing with his son Michael and treasured those precious times more than anything. Mike retired as an Operational Supervisor from the Asheville VA Medical Center.
Mike loved the Lord and found great comfort in worshiping alongside of his family. He was a steady, kind, and supportive presence in the lives of those who knew and loved him. His legacy of love, laughter, and faith will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
