Michael Steven Clark, 56, of Franklin, NC, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025.

Michael was born in Macon County to the late Dewey and Lois Ruth Holland Clark. He attended Oakdale Baptist Church and was a fire fighter at one time with Cowee and Burningtown fire departments. He loved fishing, hunting, Nascar and football.

He is survived by his wife, Katrina Roper Clark; son, Chris Clark; sisters, Michelle Strickland (Richard), Arlene Drinnon (Randy); brother-in-law, Mikey Roper; mother-in-law, Marilyn Roper; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 20th from 10-11am at Macon Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at 11 am in the Chapel. Reverends Randy Drinnon and Gary McCoy will officiate.
