Obituary
Mrs. Mary Melaine Enloe, age 70 of Franklin, KY went to be with the Lord at 7:30 PM on Monday, September 11, 2023, at the Medical Center at Bowling Green in Bowling Green, KY.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the Franklin First United Methodist Church. Funeral service will be Friday, September 15, 2023, at 12:00 pm at the Franklin First United Methodist Church. There will be no visitation or service at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at Mount Zion Cemetery in Franklin, North Carolina, located at 75-133 Johnson Road, Franklin, NC 28734, at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 18 , 2023.
Melaine was born on October 25, 1952 in Franklin, NC to the late Robert V Hooper and the late Mary Lou Hedden Hooper.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jeff Enloe of Franklin, KY; 1 sister, Jane Sutton (Bob), 3 brother in-laws, Bill Enloe (Ann), Jim Enloe (Kerry), Greg Enloe (Patti); 2 nieces, Mary Leah Sutton, Cindy Neff (Doug), 1 nephew, Timothy Enloe; and her beloved fur-babies, Patches and Flash.
Mrs. Enloe was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church in Franklin, KY. She attended Franklin High School in North Carolina, where she went on to earn a Bachelors of Science degree from Mars Hill College. Melaine was an associate member of the University of Kentucky Alumni Association, she enjoyed UK women's basketball, reading, and traveling. She and her husband, Jeff have traveled extensively together throughout 48 states and 9 Canadian provinces. Although Melaine was physically handicapped, she didn't let that prohibit her from doing anything that she set her mind on. She loved her cats and talking to people.

A graveside service will be held Monday, September 18 at 1pm in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Franklin, NC.
