Marilyn Stockton, 80, of Franklin, North Carolina went home to be with the Lord on March 20, 2025. She was born in Habersham County, Georgia, on October 2, 1944, to the late Freeman and Mamie Lewallen.

She is survived by her husband, Morris Stockton, of 62 years. In addition, she is survived by a daughter, Renee Pruett (Andy); one son, Mark Stockton (Laura); three grandchildren, Chelsea Pruett Heaton, Drew Pruett, Natasha Holland and four great grandchildren, Rylan, Brentlee, Nova, and Wesson.

Marilyn was of the Baptist Faith. She worked for many years at the Pizza Peddler. She loved bingo, music, and flowers. Most of all she loved all her grandkids. Marilyn was a beloved wife, mother, and most of all, grandmother. She was a high spirited, helpful, caring, unique, generous and loveable woman. She will be greatly missed by all of those that knew and loved her.
