Marilyn Outlaw North, 87, of Franklin, NC, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023.

Marilyn was born in Ft. Pierce, FL to the late Edwin and Elizabeth Outlaw. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons, Thomas Leon North Jr. and Donald Maurice North, brother, Donald Eugene Newton, sister Sandra Kay Ritton and granddaughter, Heidi Lynn North. Mrs. North was a member of Longview Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Thomas Leon North Sr. of Franklin, NC. Sons: Gerald Eugene North of Oklahoma City, OK, Wendell Lee North of Ft. Pierce FL, Dale Wayne North of Franklin, NC, and daughter Della Marie North of Port St. Lucie, FL. Eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren also survive.

A memorial service will be held December 9, 2023, at 11a.m. at Longview Baptist Church, Franklin, NC.
The Rev. Johnny Lee will officiate.
