Macie Maribel McConnell Montaño was born on November 13, 2024 to Caleb McConnell and Betty Garcia. The tiny angel entered into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, March 23, 2025 while she was under the exemplary care of Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte. Macie was a "tough cookie" that fought with bravery and resiliency.

While Macie's life was short, she made a profound impact on those around her. She had a bright spirit that exuded sunshine and happiness.

A funeral service will be held Friday, March 28, 2025 at 6:30 pm. at Biltmore Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Pastor Kelvin Moseley will officiate.
