Obituary

Louise M. Snyder (Bell) Morgan, 91, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, April 4, 2024 surrounded by her family in Franklin, North Carolina. Louise was born on March 8, 1933, in Lee County, Florida, to Reuben and Ethel Snyder. She was a resident of North Fort Myers, Florida for most of her life and a summer resident of Franklin, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband of 54 years, Lloyd A. Bell; her eldest daughter, Vickie (Bell) McClure; her son, Larry Bell; sisters, Doris Eloise Smith and Mary Ann Snyder; brother, Robert Snyder; and a grandson, David Rogers.

She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Charles Morgan, Sr; a daughter, Lou (Bell) Rogers (Gary); Son-in-law, Kahn McClure; daughter-in-law, Sandra Bell; 7 grandchildren, Sherry McClure (Steven), Mark McClure, Christina Joiner (Brent), Larry Bell, Jr (Katie), Joel Rogers (Cheryl), Michael Bell (Jen) and Robert Bell (Kristina); 14 great-grandchildren, Amanda Ghigliotty (Nick), Victoria Johnson (Kristian), Darrian McClure, Ivory McClure, Amos Bell, Micah Bell, Jeremiah Bell, Eden Rogers, Elliot Bell, Lucy Bell, Maggie Bell, Liliana Bell, David Bell and Christopher Bell; 3 great, great grandchildren, Nathan Ghigliotty, Sofia Ghigliotty and Lucas Curtis; 4 step-children, Chucky Morgan (Patty), Debbie Brandt (Gordon), Alecia Stevens (Bobby), and Teri Browning; 3 sisters, Joan Montgomery (Richard), Shirley Carrillo (Alex) and Anita Kelly; 1 brother, Kenny Snyder (Maureen); several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She worked as a CNA for many years, later she became a real estate agent and, also, a hairdresser; even opening her own salon, Lou's Beauty Shop. She dedicated her life to serving her Lord and Savior and enjoyed attending church. She loved music and loved to sing; she sang solos in many church services and, also sang for several years in a gospel group, "The Smith Family Singers", with her sister and family, and it was one of the highlights of her life. She loved her family so very much and was so proud of each one of them. She always made sure that anyone who visited had something to eat, whether they wanted it or not. She enjoyed wearing her brooch pins and had quite a collection, mostly obtained as gifts from her grandchildren through the years.

A memorial service is planned for a later date in Florida.
