Obituary
Lois Lee Grau Nielsen, 92, of Franklin NC, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024.
Lois was the daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy Denman Grau. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Thomas Nielsen. She was an administrative assistant for Federal Judge Charles Fulton, for the Court of Appeals. She retired and moved to Franklin in 1986.
She is survived by her stepsons, David Nielsen (Dale) of Cape Coral, FL and Robert Nielsen (Kate) of Chelmsford, MA; grandchildren, Dale Nielsen, Kate Nielsen; brother, James W. Grau (Elizabeth); nephew, James Grau (Elvira) of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at a later date in Eustis, FL.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave FL 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
