Lois Ruth Holland Clark, 76, of Franklin, went home to be with Jesus, on Thursday, October 12, 2023.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late, Alfred and Ruth Bryson Holland. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husbands, Oneil Clark and William Wykle; six brothers, Claude, Wylie, Roy, William (Bill), Virgil, and Alfred Holland Jr.; and two sisters, Betty Bartley and Louise Engstrom.

Lois lived most of her life in Macon County. She was a member Cullasaja Assembly of God and later attended West Franklin Church. She loved working on crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her three children, Michael Clark and wife Katrina, NC, Michele Strickland and husband, Richard, and Arlene Drinnon and husband Randy, all of Franklin, NC; nine grandchildren, Christopher Clark, Alex Strickland, Amanda Davis, Anna Clark, Adam Armstrong, Andrew Armstrong, Justin McMahan, Dalton Drinnon, and Kaitlyn Conley; and eleven great grandchildren, Emry Keener, Kyla Smith, Wyatt Clark, River Anderson, Rylan Armstrong, Reed Armstrong, Axton Armstrong, Ansley Armstrong, Wrenly Armstrong, Emily Drinnon, and Canaan Conley. Lois also has numerous nieces and nephews surviving.

A celebration of life will be at 6pm on Monday, October 16 in the chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Randy Drinnon will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 5pm to 6pm, one hour prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
