Linda Sue Pitts, 65, of Franklin, went home to be with Jesus on October 11, 2022.

Linda was the daughter of Roger Cunningham and the late Brenda Chastain. She was always willing to help others and had a smile for everyone. She loved her children, grandchildren, and her great grandchildren. They were her reason for life. This was shown through one of her diary entries; "Dear Heavenly Father, I pray for good news, if its your will. Please help me to be strong, Father, I thank you for my children, grandchildren, and great grandsons. They are my heart and soul. They have given me so much joy. I love them all so much. Father, thank you for sending Glenn to me years ago. He is the love of my life, my best friend. Father, please take care of them, keep them happy and safe. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen."

She was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Chastain; stepfather, Pritchard Chastain; and grandson, Wesley Gregory. Linda is survived by her father, Roger Cunningham; husband, Glenn Pitts; sons, Shane Cunningham (Jamie), Isaac Pitts (Brooke Tippett); daughter, Heather Gregory (Nathan); brother, Marvin Cunningham (Debbie); sister, Trish Hummel; grandchildren, Robbie Sanders, Santana Cunningham, Michael Hess, Preston Gregory, Elijah Gregory, Aiden Pitts, Ally Pitts; great grandsons, Layke Sanders, and Julian Hall. She is survived by a lifelong friend, Brenda Long Simpson. Numerous other family members and extended family also survive and whom she loved dearly.

A service will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 6 pm in the chapel of Macon Funeral Home. They will receive friends from 5pm-6pm, one hour prior to the service.
