Linda Sue Lamb, 78, of Franklin, NC, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

A lifelong resident of Macon County, Linda was born to the late Doyle and Betty Sue Long Sanders. She was a devoted member of LifeSpring Community Church and lived her life grounded in faith, love, and service to others.

Linda found joy in music, dancing, crafting, and gardening. She especially loved spending time with her family and sharing her unwavering love for the Lord. For many years, she served her community as a van driver for Macon County Transit, where she enjoyed helping and connecting with those she served.

She is survived by her children, Connie Gasaway (Russell), Sharon Lamb, Teresa Agrusa (Vince), and Bryon Lamb (Celena); eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and two brothers, John Wayne Sanders and Skip Sanders.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:30pm on Saturday, October 3rd, at LifeSpring Community Church.

Linda will be remembered for her kind heart, her strong faith, and the love she shared with her family and friends. Her legacy will live on in the many lives she touched.
