Linda Neal Dills, age 82, of Otto, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025 under the exceptional care of Four Seasons Hospice.

Linda was born in Macon County to the late Kenneth James Neal and Margaret Ann Poindexter Neal. Having an outstanding green thumb, Linda found great joy in gardening and her flowers. She also enjoyed the beauty of hummingbirds as they enjoyed Linda's flowers as much as she did.

Above all, Linda loved her family, and she never met a child that she didn't mother to some extent.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Dills; great granddaughter, Thea Lynn Collins; and sister, Patsy Neal Davis.

She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 65 years, Glen Dills of Otto; son, Ronnie Glen Dills (Carla) of Lugoff, South Carolina; daughter in law, Janice Dills of Franklin; sister, Peggy Guffey of Thomasville, North Carolina; and loving caretaker, Darlene Kiely. Linda treasured her five grandchildren, Marcie Collins (Justin), Cory Dills (Madi), Candace Dills, Brandy Dills, and Amber Dills (James); and her nine great grandchildren. She also treasured all her nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Jennifer Young.

A graveside service will take place at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Woodlawn Cemetery with Pastor Lewis Smith officiating.
