Lex Randolph Foster, Jr., 59, of Otto, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026.

Born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, he was the son of Lex Randolph Foster, Sr. and Carol Watson Foster. In 1995, Lex moved to Macon County with his family and made it his home for more than three decades.

Lex was a dedicated and hardworking man who spent more than 25 years with Whitley-Franklin Tubular and 21 years as an employee of UPS. He was a proud member of the Teamsters Union during his time with UPS and was respected by his coworkers for his strong work ethic and commitment.

Outside of work, Lex enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved working in his yard, taking pride in keeping it beautiful. He especially enjoyed driving his 2013 Mustang, listening to music, and was a devoted fan of Prince. Lex could often be found watching Star Trek or Star Wars, adding to his lifelong love of science fiction. He was also an avid comic book collector and treasured the time he spent playing with his beloved cats, Tiger and Loci.

In addition to his parents, Lex is survived by his son, Eric Foster; his sister, Angel Foster; his niece, Bella Circo; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Lex will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his hardworking nature, his unique interests, and the joy he found in life's everyday moments. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
