Obituary
Leslie Lynn Crane Scudder, 62, of Franklin, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.
Born in Charlotte, NC, she was the daughter of the late Don and Carolyn Lewis Crane. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Scudder, and two siblings, Don Crane, and Susan Ivey Crane. Leslie was a registered nurse and loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, antiquing, planting flowers and going to the beach. She loved spending time with all her grandchildren and her beloved dog, "Lady Bird".
Leslie is survived by her longtime companion, Keith Cowart; children, Matthew Reeves, Brian Reeves, Morgan Cowart, Jessie Cowart, and Adam Scudder; two sisters, Sherry Teta, and Janet Norwood; one brother, Kevin Swenson; and seven grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members.
The funeral service will be at 7pm on Monday, June 5, 2023, at Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Terry Dixon will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 7pm, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the March of Dimes.
