Larry Dale Morris, 64, of Franklin, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014.

Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late Eddie Morris and Ethel Early Morris. Larry was a landscaper; member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church; an avid sportsman, enjoying all sports and was an animal lover.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Joan Pope Morris; five children, Katrice Morris of Greensboro, NC, Kevin Morris and wife Kristy of Charlotte, NC, Pennie Bowen and husband Woody of Lawrenceville, GA, Wendie Bagby and husband Jonathan of Buford, GA and Debbie Rutledge of Buford, GA; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild. He also leaves behind his beloved dogs, Fred, Otis and Molly.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. James Greenwood will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, prior to the service.
