Kevin B. Perkins passed peacefully in his sleep on August 27, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 69 years old.

Kevin was born on July 24, 1957, in Boulder City, Nevada, to Jack and Joyce Perkins. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Kevin is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Rose (Urban) Perkins; his daughter, Cheyenne Perkins; and his grandchildren, Natas, Draxton, and Zora, all of Oregon. He is also survived by his sister, Kristie, and his brothers, Kent and Kurt, all of Nevada, along with 29 nieces and nephews, 23 great-nieces and great-nephews, and 5 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. A talented mechanic, Kevin had a gift for working with his hands and solving problems. He loved his cats and bird, enjoyed photography, and found joy in playing the bass guitar. He also was a licensed pilot. Kevin appreciated good food, especially meals lovingly prepared by Rose, and his favorite dessert was yellow cake with chocolate frosting.

Kevin was preceded in death by his newborn daughter, Autumn Rose; his parents, Jack and Joyce Perkins; his in-laws, Bob and Rose Urban; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

A private ceremony will take place with family in the Fall. Kevin’s family will hold dear the memories of his, talents, love of music, and the simple joys he shared with those closest to him.
