Kenneth Wallace Morgan, 63, of Franklin, North Carolina, passed away on September 29, 2026.

Kenneth was the son of Max Morgan and Evelyn Houston. He was preceded in death by his father, Max Morgan, and his stepfather, William "Bill" Houston.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 40 years, Jeanna Rice Morgan; his children, Nathan W. Morgan and Marina L. Morgan (David); and his cherished grandchildren, Justin and Ryder Talley. He is also survived by his mother, Evelyn Houston; his siblings, Michael Houston (Amanda) and Melissa Wallace (Jeff); as well as many nieces and nephews who will treasure his memory.

Kenneth worked as a heavy equipment mechanic, a profession that reflected his strong work ethic and mechanical skill. An avid hunter and fisherman, he found his greatest joy outdoors. Whether he was working, hunting, fishing, or simply enjoying nature, Kenneth was most at home under the open sky.

Above all else, Kenneth was devoted to his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend whose strength, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those he loved will be dearly missed. His presence brought comfort and support to his family, and the memories he created will be cherished forever.

Though he is no longer with us, Kenneth's legacy of love, hard work, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 6 from 5pm to 7pm at Macon Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
