Kenneth Mashburn, age 82, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025.

Kenneth was born in Franklin to the late Dean Franklin Mashburn and Jesse Agnes Stewman Mashburn.

Having spent most of his adult life in banking, Kenneth will be remembered for his time with First Union Bank and United Community Bank. Following his retirement, he joined the staff of Macon Funeral Home where he continued serving his community.

When he wasn't working, Kenneth found the most enjoyment with a hook in the water trying to get the next big catch.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Mashburn; and daughter, Lisa Stepp.

He is survived by his two step sons, John Shook (Sonya) and Jeff Shook; sister, Linda Cabe; and grandchildren, Joshua, Jeremy, and Jacob Stepp, and Chandler, Roman, and Justin Shook.

The family may plan a service at a later date.
