Obituary
William Keith Ray, 65, passed away at his home on Friday, November 29,2024.
He was the son of Geroge and Catherine Ray. He was preceded in death by his father, George Ray and his partner of 38 years, David Horne. He was a member and custodian of Clarks Chapel Methodist Church. He worked at C.R. Industries. Keith loved animals and a friend to everyone.
He is survived by his mother Catherine Ray Stinson; sister, Susie McCoy (Terry); two nephews, James McCoy (Melanie Steele) of Cumming, GA, Josh McCoy (Kevin Covell) of Franklin; stepfather, Arthur Stinson; two aunts, Shirley Shuler, Agnes Tardy; one uncle, Bruce Wooten, and numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Clarks Chapel Cemetery Perpetual Care, 1999 Clarks Chapel Rd, Franklin, NC 28734 or Appalachian Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 81, Franklin, NC 28744.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 7th from 1-2pm at Macon Funeral Home. A private burial will be at a later date.
