Keisha Lynn Thompson, age 40, entered her eternal home on Friday, March 28, 2025.
Although Keisha struggled most of her life with sickness, she never let her pain keep her from smiling or being a light to others. Keisha spread the love of Jesus by making bracelets for missionary Felix Villarreal to hand out in Mexico as he shares the gospel throughout the country.
She was a beloved and devoted member of South Macon Baptist Church.
Always the brightest light in the room, she loved to be with her friends and family; and no one could deny Keisha was always the favorite kid around.
Keisha is survived by her parents, Mitchell and Debbie Thompson; grandmother, Opal Chambers; brother and sister in law, Michael and Heather Thompson; niece and nephew, Madison Thompson and Hunter Thompson; aunts and uncles, Dorothy and Bubby Shope, Doyle and Genie Chambers; and Alvin and Janet Thompson; great aunts and great uncles, Linda Patterson, Austin Beaver, Charles Beaver, and Melvin and Shirley Beaver; special friend, Shane Harris; and numerous cousins and friends.
A celebration of Keisha's life and service to the Lord will take place at 12 noon, Tuesday, April 1, 2025 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home with Pastor Albert Grey and missionary Felix Villarreal officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 until the funeral hour, at the funeral home.
A graveside service will take place at 2:30 P.M. on Tuesday in Unaka Baptist Church Cemetery in Murphy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to missionary Felix Villarreal in care of South Macon Baptist Church.
Online condolences can be made at www.maconfuneralhome.com.
