Obituary
Kathryn "Kathy" Moffitt Rogers, 70, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023.
Kathy was the daughter of Hattie Henry Moffitt and of the late Benjamin Moffitt. She was of the Protestant faith and loved riding motorcycles.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Charles "Jim" Rogers; children, Melissa Allen (Mike) of Candler, NC, Kimberly Pierce of Franklin, NC, Charles B Rogers (Margaret) of Lake Oswego, OR; sister, Judy Combs of SC; brothers, Mickey Moffitt of FL, Randy Moffitt of MS; four grandchildren, Jordan, Erica, and Ben Waldroop, Barrett Hursey and step-grandchild, Alexis Allen.
A celebration of life will be held at 2pm Saturday, November 4th, at Hickory Knoll Methodist Church. The family will receive friends 1-2pm, one hour prior to the service. Rev. Stephanie Thompson and Rev. Mike Allen will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Office of Development 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
