Judy Ann Curtis Carpenter, 84, of Franklin, NC, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 24, 2026.
Judy was born in Macon County to the late Charlie Curtis and Minnie McCall Curtis on January 6, 1942.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Elsie Brendle, Christine Brabson, Charles Curtis Jr., Willie Curtis, Claude Curtis, Verlin Curtis, Catherine Cunningham, Jimmy Curtis, Barbara Bradley, and Polly Lovell; her husband, C.L. Carpenter; and her two daughters, Patricia C. Green and Donna C. Stacey. She is survived by a grandson, Sammy Carpenter.
She was a founding member of Bethesda Baptist Church. Judy was a homemaker and worked in several local restaurants as a cook. She will be fondly remembered as a loving, caring lady who showed love to all she met.
She loved reading her Bible and doing word search puzzles. She spent the last 17 months of her life residing at Grandview Manor where she loved all that took care of her. Our sincere thanks to all the staff at Grandview and to Four Seasons Hospice.
