Judith Danis Nevins, 87, of Franklin, NC passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024.

Born in Bristol, Connecticut to the late Eugene and Lydia Bartz Danis. Judy was predeceased by her beloved husband Doug. She is survived by her sister, Donna Danis Lasewicz and her husband Steve, and her brother Peter Danis and his wife June. She is also survived by her six nieces and nephews: Jamie Lasewicz Clegg, Alison Lasewicz Wolf, Mari Kaye Lasewicz Helsley, Garett Lasewicz, Alex Danis, and Adam Danis,

Judy graduated from Bristol High School in 1954. She worked for many years as a secretary for the Welding Society in Miami, FL where she lived. Doug and Judy were married in Miami and moved to Franklin, NC in 2000 to Retire. They built their dream home on Whisper Mountain where they loved their neighbors, the peace and quiet, and the beautiful views. She volunteered at Angel Medical Center for several years and used her hobby of crocheting to support the local REACH program.

Honoring her wishes, no services are planned.
