Johnny Charles Curtis, 70, of Otto, NC passed away Thursday, April 11, 2024.

Johnny was born in Rabun County, GA, to the late Charles and Georgia Ann Moffitt Curtis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Katherine Curtis and sister, Teressa Curtis. He worked for the Department of Defense on military missiles. During his time in the Air Force, he was stationed most of his life in North Dakota. After retirement he moved back to the mountains. He was a member of the American Legion and the Historical Society.

He is survived by his wife, Kelley Solem Curtis; son, Brandon Curtis; grandson, Justin Hanson; brothers, Floyd Curtis (Renee), Tommy Curtis (Jan); sister, Sandra Smith (Eddie); stepchildren, Jacob Trail, Amber Trail, Bradley Engebretson; several nieces and nephews.
