JoAnn Marie Sellers Hastings, 85, of Warner Robins, GA, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Hazel Smith Sellers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Sellers. JoAnn was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church in Warner Robins, GA and Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Franklin, NC. She had previously worked as a contracting officer with the US Air Force.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 62 years, Joseph Denton Hastings; two sons, Scott L. Hastings and his wife Terrie of Macon, GA, and Alan D. Hastings of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren, Matthew Hastings and his wife Renee, and Rachael Hastings; and a great granddaughter, Hannah Hastings.

The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday, October 31 at Macon Funeral Home. The Graveside service will be 2pm on Wednesday, at the Ridgecrest Baptist Church cemetery. Rev. Guy Duvall will officiate.
