Obituary
Joan Helen Fallot, 85, of Franklin, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen Fallot. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Kenny Vliet. Joan retired from the Detroit Edison Power Company where she worked as a stenographer for 37 years. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and she enjoyed drawing, playing bingo, gardening and flowers.
She is survived by a niece, Mildred Lee Schnetzler of Franklin; nephew, John Vliet and wife Debbie of Naples, FL; five great-nephews, Michael Vliet and James Vliet both of Detroit, MI, Robert Vliet of Florida, Timothy Vliet and Gary Andrews both of Franklin and great-niece, Donna Nix of Franklin.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 16, at St. Francis Catholic Church. Father Tien Duong will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
