Jewell Irene Swecker Ellis, 92, of Franklin NC, passed away Thursday July 24,2025.
Jewell was born in Keoke, VA, to the late Charles and Ollie Parsons Swecker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Ellis; and son, Eric Ellis. Her family moved to Franklin in 2010. She loved gardening, making jewelry, and baking desserts for the Franklin House. Still cooking and baking at age 92.
She is survived by her twin daughters, Sara Ellis and Sandy Cook (Paul Cook Jr); and numerous nieces and nephews.
