Jeffrey L. Norman, Age 70, of Franklin, NC, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025. He was born on February 28, 1955, in Harriman, TN.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Evelyn Howard Norman, and two brothers, Michael and Gregory Norman.
He is survived by his daughter, Heather Norman Ramey (Dustin Carpenter) of Franklin, NC; grandchildren, Caycee, Molly, Delilah, Connor, and Wyatt Ramey, and Daxton Carpenter, all of Franklin, NC; sister, Cheryl Norman of Knoxville, TN; and former wife Janet Passmore Norman of Franklin, NC.
Jeff taught himself to play guitar while still in elementary school and continued to play throughout his life. He played guitar at Rose Creek Baptist Church in Franklin, NC for many years and also performed with The Gospel Echoes Gospel Group, also of Franklin, NC.
Jeffrey is a U.S. Navy veteran from the Vietnam era, serving on a submarine tender in Connecticut. He was employed for many years as a mechanic with Franklin Ford and Jim Brown Chrysler Jeep Dodge but was forced to retire due to complications from Multiple Sclerosis.
The family would like to thank Macon Valley Care and Rehabilitation staff and Four Seasons Hospice Care staff for their care and compassion in caring for Jeff over the past three years.
