Jeffery Alan Wood, 56, of Franklin, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2019.

Born in Thomasville, NC, he was the son of Edgar Robert Wood (Karen) and the late Florene Annette Moore Wood. Jeff had a love for music and cars and painted cars for a living; he had several cars that were featured in Show Car Magazine. In his free time, he loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.

In addition to his father and stepmother, he is survived by his wife, Tammy Sue Harris; three sons, Jeffery Alan Wood II (Danyle) of Franklin, Brent Alan Wood of Franklin and Mitch Alan Wood of Otto; three brothers, William O. Wood of Trinity, NC, Walter "Toby" Wood of Otto and Bobby Wood of Vero Beach, FL; five grandchildren, Colten, Connor, Brent, Ebony and Casen Wood.

Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, November 30th at Tellico Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m., prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Macon Funeral Home, 261 Iotla Street, Franklin, NC 28734, to help with funeral expenses.
