Obituary
Jean Marie Nettles McCall Brown, 73 of Franklin, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022.
Jean was born in Hollywood, FL. to the late Irvin Shelby Nettles and Frances Jones Nettles. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ted Brown. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family, and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Heather Stamey (Brian), and Richard McCall both of Franklin, NC; stepdaughters, Judy Brown of England and Amy Brown of Boston MA.; and sisters Jane Nettles of Franklin, NC, and Joy Smith of Clayton, GA; and 4 grandchildren, Sarah Stamey, Ethan Stamey, Nathan Stamey and Leah McCall.
A graveside celebration of life will be held at 3pm on Friday, June 24 at the Highlands Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
