Janice Marie Zelasko Brucher, 70, of Franklin, NC, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Janice was born in New Jersey to the late Francis and June Morgan Zelasko. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tonia Stone. She retired from Kmart after 33 devoted years. She was known for her annual Christmas parties that she hosted. These events were documented in the Franklin Press. She was also known for her St. Bernards which she walked in the Christmas parade every year.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Richard "Dick" Brucher; son, Chad Stone (Angie); daughter, Kelly Cunningham; sister, Linda Day O'Quinn; grandchildren, Hannah Stone Cummings (Charlie), Sarah Stone (Fiancé'-Nathan), Tyler Cunningham, Trinity Curl, Trent Curl; great grandchildren, Everett Cummings, Carter Tanner and her eight fur babies.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 6th from 4-5pm at Macon Funeral Home.
