Janet Marie Gill, 89, of Franklin, died on Saturday, December 30 after a period of declining health.

Born in Acton, Massachusetts, Janet was the daughter of the late Hosea Gould and Margaret McGovern. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Gill, her stepfather Frank Ignachuck, and brother William Ignachuck.

Janet is survived by her son, Joseph T. Gill and wife Virginia of North Fryeburg, Maine; daughter Elizabeth Seay and husband Roger of Franklin, as well as brothers Frederick Gould, Roy Gould, and Frank Ignachuck. Janet is also survived by her grandchildren, Silas, Kirsten, Bridget, and Rowan Gill, Rhys McVicker, Mary Margaret Seay, Glen Carver and Kristie Francis. Three great-grandchildren also survive.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
