Jami Brehm Gibson, age 47, passed away Monday, November 10, 2025, after dealing with health issues for a period of time.

Jami loved like no other, giving of herself and well-known for her love of helping others. Her first love was her family and animals, always the first to text "Good Morning," she was the glue of the family. Her pets were her kids.

Jami had a passionate outlook on life and during her free time, you could find her volunteering at the local animal shelter, helping a person in need, or in the background organizing meals and events. When she wasn't giving of herself, she was foraging mushrooms, making fairy gardens with her niece, or cuddling her animals.

Jami graduated with honors from both Franklin High School and Western Carolina University and worked 20+ years in the tax industry and in cyber security.

Jami was very creative. She was passionate about her Southern Belles Glamping campground. She researched, purchased and restored all of the vintage campers herself, creating a peaceful retreat for her guests.

Jami is survived by her husband, Jack Gibson; parents, John and Carolyn Gibson, siblings Kerri Gibson (Philippe), Ruthie Gibson Capaforte (Anthony), and Jonathan Gibson; nieces, Kinsey and Aelin Capaforte.

There will be a drop-in Celebration of Life at her Southern Belles Glamping on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm. There will be a Remembrance at 2:00 pm. All friends are welcome. Parking is limited, please carpool, as able. Dress is as you are comfortable or campground chic. Pink was her favorite color if you want to incorporate that into your attire.

In honor of Jami's lifelong love for animals and her dedication to animal rescue, in lieu of flowers, our family has chosen to raise funds for a local shelter. Jami spent countless hours throughout her life comforting animals, organizing adoptions, and donating generously to ensure that every animal felt loved.
