James Wehrli Smith, 53, of Franklin, NC passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024.
James was born in Syracuse, NY, to Frederick W. Smith and Edna Smith Frady. He was preceded in death by his mother; siblings; Vicky Smith and Al Smith. He liked to write, draw cars, and enjoyed a variety of music from rock to contemporary.
He is survived by his father, Frederick W. Smith Jr; brother, Fred W. Smith (Cathy); sister, Sarah Bates; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 2nd at 2pm, in the Eastfork Cemetery in Sylva, NC. Rev. JD Watson will officiate.
