Obituary
James Lee Schultz, Sr.,77, of Franklin, NC, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023.
He was the son of the late Claude Schultz. He moved to Franklin in 2021 from Florida. He was a member of South Macon Baptist Church. He loved woodworking, fishing, hunting, archery, camping, and just being outdoors. He served our country for two tours in Vietnam and received a Purple Heart.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Carol Forbes Schultz; son, James Lee Schultz, Jr (Paula) of Attleboro, MA; stepchildren, Tammy Leitch (Colin) of Stone Mtn, GA, Russell Rayevich of Monroe, NC; four grandsons, Christopher, Zachary, Nikolaus, Jordan; and one step granddaughter, Arden.
No services are planned at this time.
