Obituary
James Patrick Henry, 80, passed away Monday, September 11, 2023.
James was the son of the late Thurman and Arcilla Woody Henry. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Nathan Henry and an unborn grandchild. He worked for the NC State DOT and served our country in the Army National Guard for 9 years. He was an outdoors person who loved to be out in the woods hunting, fishing and ginseng digging.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Cora Lee Hopper Henry; daughter, Patricia Wall (Vance); son, Keith Henry (Shelli) brother, Harry Henry (Mary); and one grandson, Trevor Wall.
A graveside service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, September 13, at Burningtown Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Gary McCoy will officiate.
