James "Jim" Byron Dawkins Jr., 85, of Franklin, NC, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024.
Jim was born in Andalusia, AL, to the late James Bryon Dawkins Sr. and Gladys Franklin Dawkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Daniel Wayne Dawkins. He was a retired electrician and member of the Army National Guard Reserves of Florida as a medical specialist.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Pamela Dawkins; children, Kimberly Dawkins of Connelly Springs, NC, Deborah Dawkins of Pensacola, FL, W. Daryl Dawkins of Sunrise, FL, David Dawkins of Tallahassee, FL; sisters, Alice Keister of Murfreesboro, TN, Donna Dawkins of W. Palm Bch, FL; ten grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
