James "Jim" Patrick Clouse, 77, of Franklin NC, passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, May 17, 2025.

Jim was the son of the late Charles and Deloris Clouse. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lynn Wright; son-in-law, Walter Wright; brother, Doug Clouse; and sister, Elizabeth Clouse.

He was an avid collector of antique and classic cars. He loved boating, especially pulling his kids and grandkids behind the boat. His favorite place was just relaxing on the porch overlooking the lake.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carolyn Clouse; son, Joey Clouse (Amy) of California; daughters, Michelle Brooks (Jamie) and Debbie Ray (Dennis), both of Franklin; siblings, Dave Clouse (Susan), Nancy Bancs (Rich), Kate Sieloff (Barry), Debbie Peters, Rosie Propes, all of Florida; seven grandchildren, Heather McDonald (Dustan), Justin Wright, Katelyn Ray, Jessica Clouse, Trevor Rogers (Briana), Paige Clouse, Owen Brooks; great grandchildren, Hayden McDonald, Brayln Wright and Easton McDonald. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 20th at Cullasaja Assembly of God from 4:30-5:30pm. A Celebration of Life will be held following the visitation. Pastor Marcus Larey, Pastor Trevor Rogers, and Owen Brooks will officiate.
