James (Jim) Robert Benton, 76, of Franklin, NC, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 27, 2025, surrounded by family. He was welcomed home by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Jim was born in Tampa, FL, to the late Jeff and Dixie Kemp Benton. He loved fishing, hunting, boating, old cars, and music. His favorite pastime was being with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. He was owner/operator of Pepin Distribution and worked as a truck driver for over 30 years.

He is survived by the "love of his life", Cindy Kelley Benton; children, Barbara, Scott, Charity, Mandy, David; grandchildren, Brandi, Darian, Mason, Britney, Ross, Liam; and several great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
