Obituary

Jack F. Gamble went to be with the Lord June 1st, 2024, with his family by his side. He was born to the late Ray and Mazie Gamble in Live Oak, Florida .

Jack was beloved by many family and friends. He will be remembered as a kind, loving and generous man who offered quick wit with a great sense of humor. He loved his wife of 68 years, Ginger, and reminded her of this many times each day.
Jack was a loyal member and deacon of Coweeta Baptist Church; lifetime member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans; member of the Lion's Club and a Master Mason. He served honorably in the US army, graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Education., later earning his master's degree in Criminal Justice. He worked as a Federal Probation officer until he retired. before residing in North Carolina.

In death he rejoins his parents and siblings; Charlotte Polk and Golden Gamble. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ginger, his daughters Cindy and Natalie and son Jack. Grandchildren Dustin, Victoria and Tyler. Great grandchildren Brycen and Jace.

A dual celebration of life service for Ginger and Jack will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, 2:00 PM at Coweeta Baptist Church in Otto, N.C. A graveside service will be held at Forest Meadows Cemetery (Hillcrest), 3700 SE Hawthorne Rd, Gainesville, FL 32641, on Thursday, July 18th at 11am.
