Irma Brunner Pohlenz, 87, of Franklin, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014.
Born in Munich, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Simon Brunner and Terese Sedlmeier Brunner. Irma was an interior decorator and owned Sam's Upholstery.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Roy Rodney Pohlenz; son, John Pohlenz of Whittier, NC; brother, Hans Brunner of Carrolton, GA; one grandchild and three nieces.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
