Obituary

Huey Foster Krag (Hugh), 84, passed away March 2, 2024, after a brief illness.

He was the husband of Nancy Cable Krag, to whom he was married for 51 years and the son of the late Huey Fredrick and Idella Foster Krag.

He was a native of Burningham, Alabama, graduate of Auburn, served in the US Army enlistment with the 101st Airborne, worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, and worked several years with American Red Cross. One of his Red Cross assignments was with a Marine detachment in Vietnam.

In 1983, he and Nancy came to Franklin, her hometown. After owning a campground for a while, he became a real estate broker and retired in 2004.

A graveside service will be held in late spring.
