Herman Eugene Cherry, 95, of Franklin, NC, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2026.

He was born in Edwardsville, IL to the late Clifford and Thelma Logan Cherry. He was a construction supervisor for the City of Franklin. He served our Country in the US Navy and the US Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Karin Vogel Cherry; daughter, Linda Cherry Peek; sons, Mark Cherry and Helmut Cherry; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
